Green lizards in the UK

[edit]

I've changed "United Kingdom" to "British Isles" because Jersey technically isn't part of the UK. That said, accordiding to this blog (http://darrennaish.blogspot.com/2006/04/hunting-green-lizards-in-dorset-new.html) there are green lizards on the UK mainland, so if someone knows of a more reliable source, then that should be added as well. Actually, none of the Channel Islands are part of the British Isles, as they do not lie within the British archipelago - therefore, IF, the only place of British territory where these lizards are extant is Jersey (and/or other Channel Islands) then by any real measure, they can NOT be listed as a British species; native, introduced, or otherwise.
