Western Springs College

[edit]

I don't think this is notable, especially the "well-stocked library" part.

"with a student population of around 900. The school is currently the only college in Auckland without an official uniform. It has a strong arts department and a central, well-stocked library. Its houses are Moana, Whenua, Atea, and Kapura, as well as the Rumaki, the Maori unit."

I think it should say only "Across the road from the Zoo is the school of Western Springs College, with a student population of around 900." nothing else, except for the year it was opened or similar. I've left it in for now. - Drstuey 12:24, 25 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Stadium Site

[edit]

Western Springs Stadium has been there since the 1920's at least. Well before WWII, so the land it is on could not have been used as a army camp during WWII.Leaderofearth 11:57, 25 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup needed

[edit]

This is a very rambling, unstructured article and the narrative of the development of the area keeps jumping about in time. dramatic (talk) 19:15, 24 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
