This article has redirected to Libyan Desert since 2010; I've changed it now to the Name section at Western Desert (Egypt).
The previous link may have made sense when there was no Western Desert article, and the information at Libyan Desert was actually about features in Egypt, but now we have something on the Western Desert of Egypt, and the Libyan Desert article is about the desert in Libya, it needs fixing.
The use of the term Western Desert in WWII articles ought to link to an explanation of what that meant at the time, and Western Desert (North Africa) is a broad enough term to encompass all its uses, seeing as the term covered territory in both Egypt and Libya. Also, Western Desert (North Africa), linking to an explanatory section in the Western Desert (Egypt) article, will be better than a simple pipe to Western Desert (Egypt), which would be confusing in the articles which deal with events in Libya (though less confusing than having the term Western Desert with a pipe to Libyan Desert in an article about an event 40 miles from Alexandria).
So I intend to change the pipe in all our WWII/Western Desert Campaign articles to here, as the most neutral remedy. I trust that is OK with everyone, Moonraker12 (talk) 00:11, 25 November 2016 (UTC)
