Languages
[edit]Since no source is provided in the article that says Karbi is the official language of the district, the "Karbi" has been moved to the regional section here. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 11:21, 15 September 2019 (UTC)
- These edits [1], [2], show typical article ownership behavior. Assamese alongwith English can very well be used as official documents in any region of the state even if native Assamese population is less in the district. As an example, Urdu is the official language in Jammu and Kashmir, but native Urdu-speakers are far less in number in the region. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 14:59, 15 September 2019 (UTC)
- Karbi is not the official language in the district. Speaking from perspective of someone working in Govt. sector. Jor langneh Talk 10:22, 20 August 2020 (UTC)
