Page move?
[edit]I think it would be better to have this article at Wesley Brown and have Wes Brown redirect there. Anyone prefer to keep it the way it is or shall I move the article? CTOAGN (talk) 12:00, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
Totally disagree. This Wesley Brown is only ever known as Wes Brown , and is very famous, having a regular place in the top football team in England. He's also started the last two England international matches. There's a link to the naval academy guy at the top, I don't see any reason to change it.--Elfbadger (talk) 15:12, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
Changing my mind a bit It only just occurred to me to type Wesley Brown into the search bar, which of course yields this page. If you want to change it so that Wesley Brown redirects to the naval chap, I've no objection, as long as you put a similar link (something along the lines of 'Wesley Brown redirects here, for the English footballer better known as Wes Brown click here') on the top of his page and 'Wes Brown' continues to redirect to the footballer.--Elfbadger (talk) 15:34, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
He is listed as Wes Brown on manutd.com and stretfordend.co.uk (both official Manchester United web sites). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.70.96.92 (talk) 19:11, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
no title 10-11
[edit]he is incorrectly shown as having won a premiership medal for this year. having only played 7 league games he is not eligible. this should be removed —Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.73.108.210 (talk) 09:21, 16 May 2011 (UTC)
Name of half-sister?
[edit]Anyone know what her name actually was? Sky News reports it as Amanda while BBC News has it as Claire. doomgaze (talk) 08:57, 7 July 2011 (UTC)
Own Goal Old Trafford
[edit]It wasn't Wes Brown's fourth goal for United in general, only in the League (He also scored in FA Cup and Europe). On top of that, you don't list the own goals in the Career Statistics, so -1 has to be changed to 0. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.217.160.189 (talk) 09:29, 6 November 2011 (UTC)
i edited this part so it made it clear it was an own goal — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.38.210.222 (talk) 19:17, 2 December 2011 (UTC)
