The main array of 42 solar panels (7.35kw capacity) appears to be no longer working since late 2012. As of August 2014, the system has not been repaired and no plans to fix it have been announced. Using the figures supplied by the attached display, the average system daily output (12month average) was in the range of 2.6 to 2.8 times the system capacity (eg. 20kwh per day). The output may have been significantly reduced (compared to an expected 27kwh/day) by the mast/pole for the overhead wire (catenary) and other factors. The mast typically shaded 2 panels or partially 4 panels as the shadow moved with the sun. An accurate measure of average daily kwh output cannot be made from my records due: to system faults of unknown duration; 2 or more panels added later (which are still working), unknown pre-inverter output total (I think the display shows post inverter output being lower with inverter losses), insufficient time to collect a larger record due to ongoing failure. --tygrus (talk) 05:22, 1 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
