Many many years ago we based Wikipedia notability on the vague and subjective test of whether the subject stands above the average professor. Those days are long gone. Instead we have more specific criteria at WP:PROF which you might want to acquaint yourself with. The ones that look most relevant to this case are #C1 (many well-cited publications, paying attention to the fact that citations are less common in mathematics than in many other fields) and #C5 (her endowed professorship). —David Eppstein (talk) 23:00, 30 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
