strange route
[edit]Why does the route look so inefficient between Zhongshan Junior High and Songshan Airport? – Kaihsu (talk) 22:30, 17 January 2015 (UTC)

- Line 1 (Taipei Metro) → Wenhu Line (Taipei Metro)
- Line 2 (Taipei Metro) → Tamsui-Xinyi Line (Taipei Metro)
- Line 3 (Taipei Metro) → Songshan-Xindian Line (Taipei Metro)
- Line 4 (Taipei Metro) → Zhonghe-Xinlu Line (Taipei Metro)
- Line 5 (Taipei Metro) → Bannan Line (Taipei Metro)
– TRTC had adjust rule to number lines. They have no longer used numbers to label metro lines. For example Line 1 is now Brown line.[1] John123521 (Talk-Contib.) RA 03:38, 16 January 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose proposal, Support Wenhu Line, Tamsui-Xinyi Line, Songshan-Xindian Line, Zhonghe-Xinlu Line and Bannan Line. Timmyshin (talk) 04:37, 16 January 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose somewhat per Timmyshin, in that the proposal is over-disambiguating, but use lower-case "line" per various previous RMs (i.e., per WP:NCCAPS, WP:MOSCAPS). — SMcCandlish ☺ ☏ ¢ ≽ʌⱷ҅ᴥⱷʌ≼ 13:16, 16 January 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose—indeed, please use lowercase "line". Tony (talk) 13:27, 16 January 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose John123521's proposal, Support Wenhu Line, Tamsui–Xinyi Line, Songshan–Xindian Line, Zhonghe–Xinlu Line and Bannan Line. Consider MOS:NDASH. Sawol (talk) 13:28, 16 January 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose but follow Sawol's suggestion instead. Consider downcasing Line as SMcCandlish says, though in these cases it looks to me like they are usually treated as proper names in sources, so cap Line is probably OK, too. Dicklyon (talk) 18:41, 16 January 2017 (UTC)
- Strong oppose. Taipei Metro's official website (in both EN & ZH) still shows number identifiers for all lines. Useddenim (talk) 13:49, 17 January 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose all. No rationale in terms of common names of the lines, there even seems doubt that the official names have changed consistently. Andrewa (talk) 10:01, 23 January 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose any move until the new names have reached common usage. feminist (talk) 11:11, 23 January 2017 (UTC)
