Article should be removed

I feel insulted that this so-called 'essay' is mentioned here on Wikipedia. I am of the opinion that this article should be removed.(213.10.46.8 (talk) 20:28, 7 August 2009 (UTC))

After reading this essay and looking at the wiki article regarding this essay I can say that the analogy was different. I see how we can focus on what we see as normal or perceive to be normal and we forget what really matters. We can become so overcome by what we wanted and forget what we have in actuality and neglect the love that we can be giving during those times that we are dwelling on what we think we may be missing. Comment by Susan Powers: I feel that this article is a good comparison to having a child with a disability. I have a son with several issues. When I was pregnant I read everything I could get my hands on about pregnancy. I wanted to make sure I did everything possible to take care of myself and my developing fetus. I developed Preeclampsia my last trimester and was put on bed rest. At that point I became fearful of something happening to me and my baby. I went into labor 3 weeks early and during birth, his cord was wrapped around his neck. It "supposedly" did not affect him. He was developmentally delayed in walking, but otherwise seemed like a thriving 1 year old. When he did begin walking he walked on his toes, and has done so for 16 years. So, you do plan for that trip to Italy to be great when you do all the right things in preparation, but it doesn't mean that when you do land in Holland the trip is any different then it would have been. You love as much or even more then your orginial destination.
