As inhabitant of Wehr I think, it's appropriate to defend the town against those accusations written in this article. Neither have I heard of those silly tradition of chicken racing or the chicken farming in the 13 years I live here, nor did I find anything about this in the web. And at least I surely would have noticed the 14.000 chicken... At second, the football-team of Wehr may not be that successful as other teams but I know that it had won against the FC Denzlingen II 2:0, so this paragraph is also absolutely nonsens.
