Future

The website of a group advocating some 'thing' is not a wp:reliable source for that thing - see wp:selfpublished. A news story about 14-year-old boy's dream of reopening his local station is a human-interest story and is not usable for a citation for a serious infrastructure proposal. Unless and until it is visibly and formally adopted into the strategic plans of West Northamptonshire Council, it has no credible status. Continued wp:soapboxing of ST-M (or other mutually referencing sites) in a variety of articles has reached the level of spam and is likely to lead to an indefinite block. Mention of a website in Wikipedia has no effect on search rank because all citations are set to nofollow. --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 19:10, 8 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
