Category:Anti-Japanese sentiment in South Korea ??

[edit]

I think this category should be removed. Anti-Japanese sentiment and anti-Japanese racism are not synonymous, but in South Korea, Wednesday demonstration is not recognized as "반일" (anti-Japan). It is inappropriate to use these controversial categories in the human rights movement.

Currently, no Wikipedia uses that category other than Japanese Wikipedia. (See Arabic, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, and French Wikipedia) Considering that most of those who support the category are Japanese users, it seems very biased. Is it anti-German sentiment if a French people demonstrates in connection with a German Nazi war crime??

Anti-Japanese sentiment is not necessarily limited to racism, but there will be controversy over whether it can be viewed as anti-Japanese sentiment. Many South Koreans see this as a human rights issue, not an anti-Japanese one. Mureungdowon (talk) 21:07, 21 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Feminist movement in South Korea is partially anti-Japanese. However, not all participants in the Wednesday demonstration are feminists. Mureungdowon (talk) 01:28, 22 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
