Album vs. Extended plays

Is there a reason why only Zipangu and Superman are considered albums and the rest aren't? Crawl to Sajaagari, Zipangu, and Galapagos all have more or the same number of songs as Zipangu yet they are still classed as EPs. Is there a reason for this? That's based on how the record label(s) present the works as either studio albums or mini-albums/EPs, and how secondary sources (i.e. music press) treat the works. --Prosperosity (talk) 23:19, 29 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
