GA review (see here for what the criteria are, and here for what they are not)
  1. It is reasonably well written.
a (prose, spelling, and grammar): b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
  • When Cleveland was inaugurated as president, he was still a bachelor, having never married Redundant
  • The receptions were received positively by the press preference to "well received"
  • She had no jewelry with the exception of her engagement ring -> She wore no jewelry other than her engagement ring.
  • one for the diplomatic corps and one for the general public. -> and another for the general public
  • Frances wore a gray suit and a gray hat, the latter of which was lined with velvet, picot ribbons, and ostrich feathers. -> Frances wore a gray suit and a gray hat which was lined with velvet, picot ribbons, and ostrich feathers.
  • The guest listing would look more presentable if we split it into two columns
  1. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (reference section): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR): d (copyvio and plagiarism):
Spotchecks done on that one web source; assuming good faith on facts supported by offline sources. However, could I ask you to be consistent with the citation formatting? If you prefer the Harvard citation format, stick with it.
  2. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
Coverage is broad and doesn't stray off topic
  3. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
It's as neutral as it gets
  4. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  5. It is illustrated by images and other media, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free content have non-free use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
Images are in the public domain and well captioned
  6. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:
These concerns are relatively minor, so putting this on hold is not necessary. Nineteen Ninety-Four guy (talk) 15:33, 17 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The guest list should already be in two columns. Is it not showing on your display? I know that sidebar templates can interfere with that sometimes. The Bride of the White House is separated from the other citations because otherwise it would require nine duplicated citations. All typographical concerns are now addressed, and I've added links to the sources at archive.org when possible. Thebiguglyalien (talk) 16:04, 17 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
    Looks good. It's a pass. Nineteen Ninety-Four guy (talk) 16:19, 17 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
