Notability

[edit]

In order to more clearly establish notability in the opening paragraph, I have moved up the list of awards won by members of the group. The notability guidelines for individual artists are here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Contemporary_Art/Notability

"The person's work (or works) either i) has become a significant monument ii) has been a substantial part of a significant exhibition iii) has won significant critical attention iv) is represented within the permanent collections of several notable galleries or museums."

The prizes and the references included demonstrate iii) and iv).

And from the criteria below: "A company, corporation, organization, school, team, religion, group, product, or service is notable if it has been the subject of significant coverage in secondary sources." The Wedderburn group is widely covered in both national and local newspapers:

For this reason, I have removed the notability tag added by user:Ninney.

In order to address the second issue, I have split the article up into sections, and therefore also removed the second tag. Hopefully that should be satisfactory.
