Cleanup
[edit]"To meet Wikipedia's quality standards, this article or section may require cleanup."
Why? I work with WBEM all the time. I have published a book on the subject. I improved a *very* inadequate article. This doesn't inspire me to put other articles into the Wikipedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 47.248.0.45 (talk • contribs)
To Anrie
[edit]Anrie, I agree 100% that this article needs improvement. I have just updated the DMTF and CIM articles and would like to update this one as well. Any objections ? You can also email me privately (in fact, I'd like to get in contact with you as I'm a CIM/WBEM developer too). — Gandalf44
- Yes, I have some suggestions about this article improvement. I'll create a to-do list for this article. — Anrie Nord 01:21, 10 January 2006 (UTC)

====CIMOM .v. WBEM Server
In the draft which is proposed to replace this article there is significant confusion between the CIMOM and the WBEM Server. The CIMOM is only a part of the WBEM server and many of the functions credited to it in the draft actually belong to the WBEM Server.

History?
[edit]I'd like to see some information added on the history of WBEM. How long has it been around? Has it gone through any major changes? What problem is it trying to solve? How is it related to things like SNMP (if at all)? 168.251.194.18 (talk) 16:13, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
"WBEM specifications" section outdated
[edit]"WBEM schema" and "WS-Management" are no longer "under development". The version numbers might also be outdated, I did not check. --MathsPoetry (talk) 07:43, 6 August 2012 (UTC)
