[edit]What is area of this CDP, is there a map? Copy of map, or link to map, would help Does this CDP exist currently, in what census periods does it exist? What is relationship to Simsbury Center (CDP), Connecticut? Looking at shaded region in Google map, i wonder if this is now the same CDP? Does the CDP may include some or all of the area of East Weatogue Historic District? --doncram (talk) 13:24, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
- Weatogue is bounded on the north by Stratton Brook Road and on the northwest by Town Hill road. The rest of the boundaries you can probably see from Google Maps. CDP exists currently and has been recertified for 2010. Weatogue was first counted separately in 1970. Weatogue is directly south and adjacent to Simsbury Center CDP. No part of East Weatogue Historic District is within the Weatogue CDP although it has traditionally been associated with the village of Weatogue (i.e., East Weatogue is not a separate village). --Polaron | Talk 15:28, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks. That's interesting that East Weatogue HD is not at all within the CDP, given that its topic was previously redirected to the CDP article. I also note your style in providing/asserting information: how do you know this stuff? Are any sources covering any of this available online? Is there a linkable map of this CDP. I do thank you for replying, but... --doncram (talk) 15:36, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
