Infobox and lead
  • You have sourced the genre "Electro-industrial" from AllMusic → Please note that AllMusic is not considered a reliable source in terms of genre listing since many erroneous entries had been found in their listing and they generally have an umbrella term, instead of being specific about genres.
  • All these song names listed, WP:CAMELCASE applies and seems like a stylization. Was there a discussion to have them with such stylization? Please be reminded Wikipedia discourages song camelcase like the ones for "saLvo" which should be written as "Salvo". Similarly it should be "Illisit"
  • As for the song name capitalizations, can you think of a way to add something like "(stylized as...)" somewhere without cluttering things? I don't like the random capitalization, but the band's vocalist seems very insistent on it in interviews. Regardless, I'll fix it based on what you say. You might wanna check the track list section of Artpop. —IB [ Poke ] 04:02, 24 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Background and concept
  • This interview was just a thing this guy, Samuel Skeen, recorded with the band's vocalist. It never got published, but the information is good, and it's only available on his YouTube channel. Did I do the citation wrong? CelestialWeevil (talk) 14:14, 14 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
No I just wanted to clarify if its an official channel or not. —IB [ Poke ] 04:02, 24 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • The quote box really does not add anything extra right? It can easily be merged in the prose.
  • Please use any one sample for the torture music. That should be enough and passes the tolerance of NFCC.
Composition
  • When the time came to record Weapon, Skinny Puppy chose to go through the process in a new way. → Does not make sense, how would it be a new way if the later sentence explains that they resorted to fast paced production of their early years. The sentences contradict each other.
  • File:Skinny Puppy, Weapon (2013), clip from "gLowbeL".ogg → We are not even discussing the composition of "Glowbel" (correct representation) so why would we require a sample of it?
  • Some publications noted the album for having surprisingly conventional song structures with "singalong" choruses.[21][3] → See how the references are not numerically aligned? Please move them around.
Touring
  • January, 2014 (remove comma)
  • Skinny Puppy began performing with Weapon in January, 2014 with the Live Shapes for Arms tour → This sentence is wrongly constructed. I think you mean "Skinny Puppy began performing the album's songs from January 2014 onwards on the Live Shapes for Arms tour".
  • Following two successful tours with Weapon, the band yet again embarked with Youth Code... → This second para clearly mentions that they dropped the tracks from Weapon. So why go into lengthy explanations regarding the show? Please remove.
Release and reception
  • On May 28, 2013, Weapon was released → Weapon was released to retailers on May 28, 2013, worldwide?
  • The release date would require a direct source please.
  • The album landed on several charts, including the Billboard 200 where it peaked at #140. → The album entered on several record charts, including the Billboard 200 where it peaked at number 140. (Don't use the hash-sign)
  • Weapon was followed by several tours → Already mentioned in the touring section, remove.
Charts
  • Please remove Heatseekers and Tastemakers album charts. Weapon already charted on the main Billboard 200 and those are for albums which could not or have not charted on the main ranking previously.
  • Please move Sweden to the first chart entry per Alpha-sorting of the chart table.
  • Please use rowheader=true parameter so that WP:ACCESS style is enabled.
References and EL
  • Remove Discogs urls. Its an unreliable source and user-edited.
  • Ref. 22 needs an ISBN or ISSN
  • Remove Discogs from the External links per WP:EL.
  • Reference 33 should use {{cite press release}} as its from the record label.

@CelestialWeevil: please let me know once you are done addressing the comments or you need clarification in any comment. —IB [ Poke ] 04:02, 24 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@IndianBio: Alright, I believe I've fixed everything you mentioned except the "Glowbel" audio clip. I can expand the composition section to include more info that would directly warrant the clip, but I thought it was okay as is. It's demonstrating the electronic, retrospective way the album sounds. But if I need to add more, I can. I'll look over your suggestions again in the morning and make sure I didn't miss anything. Thank you a lot for taking the time to do this. CelestialWeevil (talk) 05:51, 24 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Celestial, the composition section definitely can be improved and I would really want to see what you can do with it. —IB [ Poke ] 15:54, 24 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@IndianBio: I restructured the composition section and expanded it with citations for almost everything. Luckily enough, none of the reviews directly mentioned "Glowbel", so I guess that warrants the clip's existence as alternate evidence for the prose. I'm going to hunt for a while, try to find more sources to differentiate those in the composition section. CelestialWeevil (talk) 22:36, 25 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Great addition. Passing the article. —IB [ Poke ] 08:44, 28 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
