Clearly there are questions about how closely connected We Can Build You is to Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, given the thematic focus on androids as commodities, the interchangeability of androids and humans in some instances and some of the names- Rosen (as in Rachel Rosen in Androids) and Pris (who is also a 'replicant' character in Androids) and the centrality of schizophrenia to mistaken diagnoses of android status. Did Dick refer to this in any of his biographical records or correspondence?
