The use of soundspheremag.com
Lets first discuss this before we get ourselves into a huge argument. I personally believe we shouldn't use soundspheremag.com due to the fact it's not a confirmed reliable source. By ignoring this we may as well use the logic of using personal blogs and social media comments and tweets as references as well. I'll bring it up with the WP:ALBUM/SOURCE article talk page to see what they think, if it's considered reliable then we'll keep it in there, but if they believe it to be unreliable then we should avoid this source.
For those who want to know what source specifically: http://www.soundspheremag.com/reviews/album-review-we-are-harlot-we-are-harlot/

- Looked like a semi-professional magazine to me. I don't see how it's a blog or social media. Sources don't have to be in that list to be used. I am strongly against removing a source just because it's never been used before. If you could explain why specifically you think this is unreliable, that'd be great. dannymusiceditor ~talk to me!~ 15:26, 27 January 2016 (UTC)
- The main concern is who's writing the articles, there is no information regarding the writers apart from on this page of Emily Puckering who is a student at St John University in York, not a graduate nor notable outside this website, unlike the other sources used on this article that feature published sources, which makes them reliable since establishments would be in trouble if they publish incorrect information, and contain writers notable outside of their current profession, Puckering is not one of these people and as far as I'm aware Soundsphere Mag isn't a large establishment, it seems to be ran by people who are not quite there yet. Propertyofzack.com is an example of this as well, they don't have any notable writers and it's not a well known establishment. SilentDan (talk) 19:27, 27 January 2016 (UTC)
- There's what I was looking for. Thanks for that, I'll think on that for a while. dannymusiceditor ~talk to me!~ 03:39, 28 January 2016 (UTC)
