RACISM ALEGATIONS
The lyrics on the article are not really evidence that he isnt a racist. They merely hint at his opposition to fascism and hitler. Most people don't like nazis...doesnt mean they cannot hate ethic minorities though. Snowbound 05:56, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
the lyrics on the article are not really evidence that he isnt an alien from outr space.
That whole second paragraph should be removed. If it can be shown that he IS a racist, or whatever the heck you are trying to push, then YOU must put up the sources. If whoever wrote that wants to put it back in, put sources. 68.189.87.16 01:21, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

Wullie/Willie
[edit]I corrected the spelling of the name of Wattie's brother. (It was shown here as "Wullie" but in the page for the Exploited it is listed various times as Willie.) Forgot to make a note of what i edited on the edit itself. 98.218.179.239 (talk) 21:33, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
Chronological mismatch
[edit](Personal life section) If Wattie was born in July 1956, he would have become "interested in punk rock at age seventeen after hearing the Sex Pistols" in 1973 and 1974. According to the Wikipedia article on the Sex Pistols, the band did not even exist until 1975, only an earlier incarnation without Lydon called the Strand. Checking reference 4 (which admittedly I have only scanned over) confuses matters slightly. It says "Buchan discovered British punk in 1977. Bands such as the Sex Pistols wowed the 17-year-old," which doesn't even agree with his birth being 1956. Of the two references for his date of birth, 1 doesn't seem to mention it, and 2 is now dead. Basically, something is wrong. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.31.187.73 (talk) 16:28, 1 July 2014 (UTC)
