WATERSHIP DOWN IS THE EASTER BUNNY'S EVIL COMPUTER SCIENCE DEPARTMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.150.32.149 (talk) 15:43, 21 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

What?

You have a point! I hope my edits have made it a bit more useful! Loganberry (Talk) 01:29, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Source

[edit]

Quite a bit of the info here is taken from Thank U Stars. I know it's not really the done thing on Wikipedia to use personal websites as sources (which is why I'm writing this here rather than as a formal references) but there's so little information around about the TV series that I didn't really have a choice! Petition

[edit]

I was wondering if it is worthy of mention to mention the current petition underway to air the Watership Down series in the United States. www.petitiononline.com/wat0023/petition.html

No. There are petitions underway in support of just about anything you care to name; one more or fewer isn't notable. Loganberry (Talk) 23:48, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you ask me this petition needs help though. It's been on the web for two days and only has two signatures.

Wikipedia is not a soapbox. --Wafulz 23:18, 5 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Okay then, any other ideas as to how I should get the 100,000 signatures this petition needs?

Well, it has four at the moment, so the answer is: find 99,996 other people who want to sign it. HTH. Loganberry (Talk) 03:41, 6 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, but how do I do that? (Would you happen to have the entire series on DVD, I'm hoping someone who has the series can e-mail it to me, provided they have media encoder software)

Let's face it, the chance of 100,000 people signing that is more or less zero. As for the DVDs: nope; I'm not a particular fan of the series I'm afraid. Anyway, an article's Talk page is supposed to a place for discussing the article specifically, not a discussion board for the topic in general, so I'll leave it there. Loganberry (Talk) 03:38, 7 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, the petition isn't going well. Although I really don't think Nickelodeon would need a petition to get this series. I think they should be on their knees begging for help. They're rolling out stupider and stupider shows month after month. They need a sensible show like Watership Down that actually has a point to it.

Different Titles on DVD

[edit]

I checked out the Journey to Watership Down DVD, and it appears as though the episode on that DVD (The Promised Land), was renamed, and, there I say, abridged[1] Hfmbears (talk) 23:53, 11 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
