How is order made ? Spain should be 2nd, not 3rd. Why did they put Spain 3rd ? 94.155.238.11 (talk) 15:03, 8 April 2016 (UTC)
Based on article 9.6.3.1 and 9.6.3.2 of the FINA By Laws, when there are three teams with equal points, the winner is decided by the head-to-head results between the three teams. If the number of teams is then reduced to two, only the head-to-head results between these two teams are decisive for the standings. In this case, results between the three teams suggest that Italy has had the best result (ITA +5, ESP -1, NED -4). After Italy has been declared winner of the group, the amount of teams is reduced to two, whereafter only the head-to-head between Spain and the Netherlands is counted towards the group standing, which is in favor of the Netherlands (7-5) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Justell (talk • contribs) 15:48, 8 April 2016 (UTC)
