this is a stub for the topic about washout filters. I searched on wikipedia and did not find and page that describes it so It is better to have a small article instead of having nothing. People who know about it will help extending the page.

- I would argue that the article still falls under the WP:A1 criteria - there is, as yet, no information as to what field the washout filter is used in (is it a computing concept? part of an engine? a tool in formal logic?). However, I have added a {{hangon}} tag, since it's clear that you are making inprovements to the article. Yunshui (talk) 09:47, 19 September 2011 (UTC)
Major Improvement Forthcoming
[edit]I am a student currently taking Dr. Amy Pritchett's class on Dynamic System Modeling (AE/ISyE-6779) at Georgia Tech. She has assigned us as a class project to improve this page collaboratively. We have extensively researched textbooks as well as journal and conference papers so it will be fairly technical in nature. Only drawback is that it will have a slight aerospace-application tilt to it but future contributors should be able to rebalance and improve it easily. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.61.69.244 (talk) 03:05, 4 April 2014 (UTC)
