Alternate Names
[edit]Growing up in the area, I've never heard this highway called the Casino Highway before. The only names I've ever heard are the Boeing Freeway & 526, mostly the former. Furthermore, WSDOT refers to this highway only by its number and sometimes as the Boeing Freeway (e.g. here: [1]). I'd be interested to know if there are any good sources for use of the name Casino Highway?--H-ko (Talk) 05:24, 24 January 2012 (UTC)
- Having lived in the area for 24 years, it was originally called the Casino Freeway because it follows Casino Rd. The name has fallen out of use, in favor of the Boeing Freeway, but many who worked at Boeing up until the early 90s still use Casino Freeway. TEG (talk) 16:03, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
