Extinct County?
[edit]Does this County still exist? I do not think so as it became Newport News, an independent city that does not belong to a county. (This is how it works in Virginia.) This article should reflect that replacing 'Warwick County is a county in Southeast Virginia...' with 'Warwick County was a county in Southeast Virginia...'. The Newport News article should also have similar changes made to it. Thoughts? ~David Craft (talk) 18:36, 29 August 2011 (UTC)

[edit]This article and the one on Warwick, VA should be combined. The only difference I'm aware of is the 4 sq mi of land given to York County. Seems illogical to have two short articles about the same piece of real estate.--THE FOUNDERS INTENT TALK 18:14, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
