The Shondells

Anyone know how come there were two Shondells groups operating in the U.S. during the sixties? Apart from the Warren Storm version, there was also the more famous Tommy James and the Shondells, of course. It seems rather strange to me that there were not copyright or similar issues at the time. Editrite! (talk) 00:12, 9 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
