The "Toll Bar"

[edit]

Recently I was pleasantly surprised, and transported back to my childhood, when my Navman GPS informed me I was entering the "Toll Bar" as I started to descend the Toowoomba Range. I had thought that the term had been abandoned by all mapping systems many years ago. This event inspired me to add a section on the "Toll Bar" to the article. An editor has seen fit to change "The term "The Toll Bar" is widely used by locals to describe the current road" to "The term "The Toll Bar" is sometimes used by locals to describe the current road". As this is a matter of perception, and possibly related to the age group and background of the individual editor, I seek the opinion of others to establish whether there is any consensus on the most appropriate text.
