Fair use rationale for Image:Wbie.jpg
Image:Wbie.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

The result of the proposal was move. JPG-GR (talk) 23:16, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
I request that this article be moved back to Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. There is very few sites that actually state the company name as Warner Bros. Games, and the official website is actually Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, It also says so on WB company's corporate page [1] under divisions. Therefore I feel that this page should be moved.--EclipseSSD (talk) 19:59, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
- Weak oppose. The reasons given for the move have no bearing on the article name in terms of Wikipedia:naming conventions. Andrewa (talk) 23:24, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
- Comment It is the official name of the company, and as such the article should reflect this. Per WP:COMMONNAME as well. There is no point in having an article title which does not reflect the official name. --EclipseSSD (talk) 12:09, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
- Comment: But WP:COMMONNAME doesn't support this move as proposed. See also Wikipedia:Official names, which is a proposal intended to clarify existing policy (and change none of it). Andrewa (talk) 14:28, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
- Comment But every (or most) other websites on the internet refer to the company as either Warner Bros. Interactive or Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. It is not a common name on the rest of the internet, so why are you arguing with the official name? What you're trying to say is that we should change World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. (the official name) to WWE Wrestling, which may be a common name for it, but an encyclopedia should put the official name of the company. There is hardly any references to say otherwise, and you can't argue with the corporate site. Therefore the name should be changed, and will not do the encyclopedia any harm.--EclipseSSD (talk) 14:50, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
- Comment Would you rather have the unofficial name, as it were? We could just rename it Warner Bros. Interactive if that's a better suggestion.--EclipseSSD (talk) 17:53, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
Why rename it at all? an encyclopedia should put the official name of the company... Well, if that's your opinion, you should perhaps propose it as a policy change. Meantime, WP:NC remains the policy. you can't argue with the corporate site... (sigh) Nobody is doing that. Please read the policy. Andrewa (talk) 07:43, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
