The old professor

Does anybody know if the old man with glasses who periodically appears in bonus rooms -- you know, the professor -- has a name, in either the English or Japanese versions? Kidicarus222 19:20, 30 January 2006 (UTC)

I don't think he has a name, as most of the sites I've seen refers to him simply as the "mad professor". --TBC??? ??? ??? 07:13, 24 April 2006 (UTC)

RESPONSE: His name is "The Professor".

A cool bit of trivia

Most of the sounds from Wario Land 4 are ripped into the Warioware games. The original musics are even remixed on Warioware.

The Story

I'm changing the story. Is it information or a game of Mad Libs? (Plainnym 23:26, 1 June 2006 (UTC))

Copy-vio?

Correct me if I'm incorrect, but doesn't copying the storyline straight from the manual count as copyright violation?--Bottles98 21:01, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

Done. Tell me what you think.--Juanra 21:18, 21 September 2006 (UTC)

Bosses

I think the bosses section reads a little too much like a game guide, as it tells you how to defeat each boss, virtually step-by-step. Would anyone have a problem with me simplifying it? Makron1n 00:43, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

I was thinking about that too. No problem by me.--Juanra 21:14, 21 September 2006 (UTC)

Trivia

"If one looks closely at the backgrounds of The Big Board and The Curious factory, the player can see many different drawings and designs, probably not created by the developers of the game." - Wuh? How do we know they weren't created by the developers of the game? If they're famous artworks or something, feel free to correct me (I can't remember), but some game designers are quite artistic! Makron1n 11:16, 23 September 2006 (UTC)

on the opening theme, she sings "you are time is over, i've had enough", bit "your piles of gold are pilin' up". that would be a little redundant.

Someone wrote in the discussion page: 'The game is cool' I don't know how to make a new title and stuff for discussion so I thought I would point out that I don't know what to replace it with. --Anonymus

WHUT?

There is a novel based on the game? Got any sources that say so? I'd like to see the cover for this...

Fair use rationale for Image:Golden diva wario1.jpg

Image:Golden diva wario1.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

The image Image:Wario Land 4 screenshot.png is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --00:27, 5 November 2008 (UTC)

Sourcing Issues

In addition to a glaring lack of sources, on this stands out -- unreferenced reviews. This is entirely unacceptable -- any review score presented needs a proper citation. Salvidrim! 20:11, 28 December 2011 (UTC)

Head Hunters reference.

I don't remember the name of it, but the last CD you found in the game sounds a lot like the 1973's jazz-funk classic Chameleon, from the Head Hunters album by Herbie Hancock.

Both basslines are really similar, and the cover of the CD in the game looks A LOT like the one of the original album.

There must be somebody sayin' this in the web too. Bring that reference and put this in the article, it's a nice bit of a cultural reference. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.220.233.212 (talk) 15:33, 23 May 2015 (UTC)
