[edit]While I understand that the two buildings are very much linked, I've added a link to the New Wardour Castle article, to distinguish it from Old Wardour Castle.
Name
[edit]Why was this aricle renamed from Old Wardour Castle to Wardour Castle? The majority of the article concerns the old castle with links to a separate article, wrongly called Wardour New Castle. The official names are Old Wardour Castle and Wardour Castle respectively according to Historic England. I propose that both articles be renamed properly. Emile Campbell-Browne
[edit]There are repeated attempts to get this gentleman's name into a number of unlikely articles. Apart from an alleged reference in a guide book, no page given, there are no non-wikipedia references to him on the internet. For someone who was supposed to have invented barbed wire, lemon meringue pie and been an expert on penguins, discovering a new species, albeit one unknown even now to other zoologists, and co-director of a major zoo, he has left zero trace on the public record. I do not believe this person existed. Murgatroyd49 (talk) 07:12, 21 June 2020 (UTC)
