  • The first reference shouldn't be in all capital letters.  Done
  • There should be references for everyone on the cast list and what character they portray.  Done
Cited all entries that could be, removed those I couldn't. Also conformed the list to how the billing block is structured, moving Negga to the bigger sentence block. Rusted AutoParts 22:09, 19 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • "Terry Notary provides the voice and motion-capture of as Grommash Hellscream, the orc chieftain of the Warsong Clan, though the part is listed in the credits as Peon. Notary also served as stunt coordinator and movement coach for the film, working with cast members Kebbell, Kazinsky, Brown, Wu and Galvin on their portrayals of the orcs, and with Foster on his portrayals of magic." - The Hollywood Reporter reference only states "Movement choreographer: Terry Notary" and the Eurogamer reference does not even mention the person.  Done
  • " Tommy Rieder and Dylan Schombing appear as a young Medivh and Varian Wrynn, respectively". Neither of the sources mention these two people.  Done
Removed altogether. Couldn't find a reliable source to cite it. Rusted AutoParts 21:59, 19 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • "In the comics, Alodi was the first Guardian of Tirisfal and a male half-elf, while the character in the film is closer to that of Aegwynn, Medivh's mother. Chris Metzen, who served as a co-producer and uncredited story writer for the film, and is the Senior Vice-President of Story and Franchise Development at Blizzard Entertainment and the voice of Thrall in the Warcraft franchise, makes an uncredited cameo appearance as a turbaned perfume vendor on the streets of Stormwind Kingdom." - I didn't even bother looking through the reference because Wowhead is not a reliable source.  Done
Swapped source. Rusted AutoParts 21:50, 19 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • "The project was officially announced in May 2006" - The reference title for this shouldn't be in all capital letters per WP:MOSCAPS.  Done
  • "and was originally set to take place in the era of Warcraft: Orcs and Humans." - I take it that it is true, but the reference doesn't go on to state as much. The reference states - "Originally Blizzard wanted it to be set in the universe of the first RTS Warcraft game with a basic Orcs versus Humans storyline."  Done
Reworded. Rusted AutoParts 21:57, 19 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • "Initially scheduled for a 2009 release, the film was later delayed to 2011." - The reference doesn't even state 2011 anywhere.  Done
Removed the bit about 2011. Rusted AutoParts 19:43, 19 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • "However, by Comicon 2011, the film was announced to still be in the "Treatment stage". - What is a Treatment stage?  Done
Reworked sentence to say Development stage instead. Rusted AutoParts 16:22, 9 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • "Uwe Boll made a bid to direct, but was turned away by Blizzard, who he claims to have said, "We will not sell the movie rights, not to you… especially not to you. Because it's such a big online game success, maybe a bad movie would destroy that ongoing income, what the company has with it." - The Movie Chronicles reference is an unreliable blog.  Done
Provided an Edgadget source in place. Rusted AutoParts 19:43, 19 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • " Sam Raimi was initially attached to direct" - I doubt that the BlizzPlanet reference is reliable when it is written by "Medievaldragon".  Done
Swapped source out for much more reputable Variety source. Rusted AutoParts 16:25, 9 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • "At San Diego Comic-Con International in July 2013, a concept trailer was presented, featuring a battle between a human and an orc" - The IGN reference doesn't even mention such a battle.
  • "Many of the casting announcements were made at a panel presentation during BlizzCon 2014." - The sentence is unreferenced.  Done
Removed sentence, couldn’t be cited in addition to not being necessary. Rusted AutoParts 03:26, 13 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • "Filming took place primarily in Vancouver, among other locations." - The reference appears to be an unreliable blog.  Done
@SL93: Through personal experience the source has been general reliable enough. I did however supplement it with a second source. I can remove the /Slash source if necessary, if you feel it is not usable. Rusted AutoParts 03:30, 13 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Rusted AutoParts: I looked into the source and read their Wikipedia article. I will accept it per the awards that it has won. SL93 (talk) 03:42, 13 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • "Cinematographer Simon Duggan said the film had a 12 weeks prep period." - The reference actually states, "It was a long prep of about 12 weeks and 18 weeks of shooting."  Done
  • "Warcraft: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is the soundtrack." and "Djawadi was hired by Jones and Legendary Pictures in October 2014." - The reference is an unreliable WordPress blog.
@SL93: Film Music Reporter has been a very reliable source in regards to film music. Their reports have always been generally sound. I can locate a new source if it’s absolutely necessary but I will make an attempt to argue for their usability. Rusted AutoParts 03:33, 13 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Rusted AutoParts: I'm hesitant to accept it when blogs are usually not reliable and I haven't found any discussion about in the archives at WP:RS/N. SL93 (talk) 03:42, 13 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • "ten years after the project was first announced." - This part of the sentence is unreferenced.  Done
Removed. Rusted AutoParts 19:43, 19 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • "Warcraft was released on digital download on September 13, 2016, and was released on Blu-ray, Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D and DVD on September 22, 2016, in Australia" - The reference is dead, but maybe an Archive link is possible.  Done
  • The Annie Awards nominations needs to be referenced.  Done
  • "With the film's storyline leaving Warcraft open to possible sequels, Jones has expressed interest in a sequel to the film, likely to be adapted from Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness, the second video game in the Warcraft franchise." - Reference 90 should not be in all capital letters.  Done
Plot is now dead on 700 words. Rusted AutoParts 21:43, 19 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This article needs a lot of work to bring it up to standard. SL93 (talk) 04:23, 8 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
