The only reliable-seeming reference I could find so far is the trivia library entry, which gets its information from some almanac series written in the late1970s-early 1980s. This reference contradicted some of the info in the article (such as the number of deaths). There aren't too many web references in general, but they mostly seem to have taken inspiration from the Wikipedia entry. In any case, the fact that thus far there is only one measly reference (of somewhat dubious value) for this article is a problem. I tried JSTOR but couldn't find anything. If someone could go to the library or something and get some more scholarly references, that would be greatly appreciated. --C S (Talk) 07:45, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

I agree, this sounds just a little too unbelievable to be real. (Then again I've said that about a couple things in the past and they turned out to be not only real, but great tragedies, so...) ekedolphin 10:55, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

Why steal a bucket?
