Wang Shun's height

[edit]

Hi there. I was looking at Wang Shun's height and noticed several conflicting measurements from trustworthy sites. FINA's official site lists him at 1.87 metres (6 ft 2 in)[1]https://www.worldaquatics.com/athletes/1005934/shun-wang/profile, but the 2022 Asian Games' official site lists him at 1.92 metres (6 ft 4 in)[2]. Meanwhile, NBC Olympics and ESPN have him listed at 6 feet 3 inches (1.91 m).[3]https://www.nbcolympics.com/athletes/wang-shun-891636[4]https://www.espn.com/olympics/summer/2012/athletes/_/athlete/34251. Which height listing should be used? ActivBowser9177 (talk) 17:43, 28 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Controversial info is undue

[edit]

User keeps returning allegations of doping. Details can be found in the article Concerns and controversies at the 2024 Summer Olympics, which provides an in-depth look at the issue. The entire team was tested, and a detailed explanation about the team's situation, rather than just brief mentions of individual swimmers, is available in the Concerns and controversies at the 2024 Summer Olympics article. Regarding this article, a whole section on doping seems unnecessary since multiple international organizations, including the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA)and the International Olympic Committee, have refuted the allegations. Sources have also reported that WADA has accused American committees of politicizing the Olympics. [5]. This goes beyond the scope of this article. Info should be removed. Info barely mention Wang.

User is also copying and pasting the same info across the bios of multiple swimmers who were briefly mentioned in the sources.
