I am the author of the articles on the walterpercyday.org website and for Wikipedia. Susan Day Susan day art (talk) 08:41, 7 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. Thank you for your interest in donating this content for use on Wikipedia. I see there is still considerable duplication between the two. For just a couple of examples:
  • "On the outbreak of the First World War, Day attempted to enlist, but was turned down on medical grounds. Assigned to an aircraft factory, he directed design department for the duration of the war." (article)
  • "On the outbreak of the First World War, Day attempted to enlist, but was turned down on medical grounds. He was assigned to an aircraft factory, where he directed design department for the duration of the war" (your external site)

  • "The picture entitled The Eleventh Hour of the Eleventh Day of the Eleventh Month, 1918 now in the Harris Museum, Preston (Lancashire) caused a considerable stir in the press." (article)
  • "A picture entitled The Eleventh Hour of the Eleventh Day of the Eleventh Month, 1918 (Preston Art Gallery) hung on the line at the Royal Academy exhibition in 1919, caused a considerable stir in the press."

This is not a problem, since you are the author of the external site, but I'm afraid that we do have to follow one of several simple steps to complete the licensing process. I'll leave a note at your talk page explaining more. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 01:07, 26 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
