The article includes the quote "AMD's Ryzen and Radeon Instinct technology" referencing the 2017 AMD CPU and graphics card lines that coincided with the film's launch (though thankfully it excludes the 'powered by Verizon FIOS' from another ad campaign, because again I don't think he's getting Verizon signal all the way from the otherside of the galaxy). This is clearly just a sponsorship deal, yet is being cited as though it's canonical to the film (and seriously, how does an android make use of a graphics card? Rendering its imagination in 4K?). That feels awfully like add "When transformed into the Hulk, Bruce Banner enjoys drinking Coca-Cola" because coke released an MCU-themed advert with Hulk and Ant-Man. The video being sited here is clearly an advertisement for AMD products masquerading under the guise of purely being a promotion for Alien Covenant. I realise it is officially released content, but videos produced solely as part of brand deals shouldn't be included as lore.
