Sareng name in Assamese script?

[edit]

According to FishBase, the common name Sareng is used in the Assamese language.[1] Assamese uses a form of the Bengali script. How is Sareng actually written in the Assamese script? SilSinn9821 (talk) 04:04, 3 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Size inconsistency

[edit]

It grows to 2 meters, but biologists insist it only grows to 1 meter and larger sightings are misidentifications of another species. And both statements are from the same source (#2, Bulletin of the Peabody Museum of Natural History). I request that someone with full access to that source resolve this contradiction in the article. 2601:441:4900:A6E0:2CD8:DA9E:51CA:9E85 (talk) 14:10, 24 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
