Fender Bender 500 in the UK question
[edit]I've posted a question about Fender Bender 500, in relation to Wacky Races, here if anyone can help?--Thetriangleguy 16:09, 9 June 2007 (UTC)
I used to watch the Fender Bender 500 regularly when it was broadcast in the UK- like you, for a long time I confused it with Wacky Races. I vaguely remember it being part of a breakfast-time show with a cartoon segment. Each week, the cartoon segment had a list of 5 cartoons, one for each day, and would play the cartoon corresponding to that day of the week, and there was always at least one Fender Bender 500 there. That doesn't correspond to the description of Wake, Rattle and Roll, so it might have been via a different show in the UK. I can't remember if it went under the title "Wacky Races" but the introduction screen was definitely that for Fender Bender 500. It's a shame they don't have any Fender Bender 500 compilations out there because if they did I would seriously consider buying one.
I remember two episodes in particular: one where they were racing for Moscow's Red Square, Dick Dastardly won and received a red square as his prize, and another where the winner received statues of Dick Dastardly & Muttley as a prize. Tws45 (talk) 20:02, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
