@Hawkers994: I saw your revert. The title of the source you indicated, "Daawo: Cuqaasha Iyo Waxgaradka Beelaha Solomadow oo Cambareeyay Dilki Foosha Xuma ee Lagu Dilay Labadi Ruux Degaanka Horufadhi", is "Watch: The Elders and Scholars of the Solomadow Community Condemn the Murder of the Two Spirits in Foradhi" in English. (Using Google Translate.) The title doesn't seem to explain demographics, how was it written in the original text? On the other hand, "A General Survey of the Somaliland Protectorate" clearly states demographics. I don't think it is necessary to delete this, what do you think about this? Its an outdated 80 year old source, the demographics have since then changed as the current source shows and should be updated as such.Hawkers994 (talk) 13:28, 5 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Since my description says "According to a book written in 1952," I don't think the reader will misunderstand. It would also be very interesting to see if demographics have changed in the past just 80 years. So you deleted this and rewrote it to say that Solomadow is the only clan in Wadamago, does the source you showed say it is the only clan? In general, it seems unlikely that Somali-language newspapers would write such a statement. The source you indicated is currently unavailable for viewing.
