There are alot of people who fondly remember this treat and there are websites filled with retro-candy articles and sales. Many people are sad at the fact Wacky Wafers are no more. Unlike the original article which constantly tried to compare wacky wafers to bottlecaps, they were actually more like giant sweetarts.
I wish I had a photo of the original CLEAR package as I would finally discover all the flavors which need metioning in the article. I vaguely remember peach, banana, watermelon and strawberry. There were at least 6 flavors and possibly as many as 10 in the small-size variety. I'm sad the originals and small ones are gone.
