Unicode superscript

[edit]

Related to my recent change detailed in Talk:Romanization_of_Arabic#Unicode_superscript, I'm changing the ū on this page to a ᵘ̄ , so that people can copy-paste it without losing the superscript aspect. On the other hand, it might not render well in all browsers? Pinging User:LissanX, who originally put the ū on the page; you might have opinions about this, and also I'm curious to know what romanization scheme this is. Since my own browser doesn't even render this right on wikipedia, I decided not to do it for now. Perhaps the ideal system would be for it to display as a smallsup but if you select it's the unicode version... much like how 1/3 looks like it does but gets copied as "1/3" Dingolover6969 (talk) 08:12, 26 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have now, perhaps foolishly, done this. Dingolover6969 (talk) 18:15, 23 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
