Comments

  • Not strictly entirely related directly to the article, but the infobox seems to be using the hash symbol to represent No. which is a violation of MOS:HASH.
    • I have removed the hash symbols in the "designated date" field. As for NRHP reference #, that is a matter for {{Infobox NRHP}}, for which I may make a request later. epicgenius (talk) 14:48, 4 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • I would have linked the insurance company by its first mention (the Germania Life Insurance Company).
  • Particularly as you link that variant in the Context and planning section.
    • Done.
  • "having opened in" why not just "opening in"?
    • Done.
  • " sold to March 1909" missing to whom?
  • "$350,000" etc inflate?
    • Done.
  • "since 1870,[17][16]" and "Financial District.[18][16]" ref order.
    • Done.
  • "that the United States was fighting against." -> " against which the United States was fighting."
    • Done, good catch.
  • "next year, The Related Companies " as you did in the lead, should that really be "next year, the Related Companies "?
    • Done.
  • " had been illegal," were there any consequences?
  • "five-story commercial building and a 20-story" MOSNUM, five/twenty or 5/20 for comparable items.
    • Done.
  • Should "Beaux Arts" in infobox be hyphenated like our article usage?
    • Yes.
  • "fireproofing.[42][40]" ref order.
  • "fourth through 15th floors" similar, fourth/fifteenth, 4th/15th.
    • Done.
  • "with garlands.[45]:158[19] " order.
    • Done.
  • ""Taylorite" tile " why in quotes and what is this?
  • Interior section first para is in past tense, e.g. "were eight elevators" but the infobox states there are still eight elevators?
  • " -- " in ref title should be replaced with en-dash.
    • Done.
  • "1870-1930." year range should use en-dash.
    • Done.

That's all I have, it's an excellent article. The Rambling Man (Staying alive since 2005!) 09:01, 4 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@The Rambling Man: Thanks for yet another in-depth review. I have fixed all of these issues. epicgenius (talk) 14:48, 4 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
You're very welcome. I'm going to do my best to get through some of your backlog over the next couple of months, so feel free to feedback to me anything you'd prefer me to do or what annoys you or whatever! Cheers, promoting. The Rambling Man (Staying alive since 2005!) 19:30, 4 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
