History
[edit]Would it be possible for us to add back the history that Neutralhomer removed from this article back in 2013? I believe it has good enough significance of being added back and being updated to be history on its former self. If needed, I can provide sources for the stuff that was removed, if it is deemed necessary. This guy seems to have vandalized a majority of radio station's history pages for no reason. - Do you mean this removal on September 10, 2013? If so, I have to entirely agree with the removal: not a single thing was sourced and it was mostly about the changes in on-air personalities. Sources are very much needed, and I'd be grateful if you could find us a source for the last paragraph of the present History section, on the format changes from 1977 to 2017, which I just tagged as unsourced after looking. Otherwise, the history we have now seems rather good to me; I don't think minutiae of who had what shows when would improve it. But if you meant a different removal, or if you disagree, yes, sources. The edit summary says as much:
removing a large swath of original research, please do NOT readd without reliable third-party sources.
(For what we mean by reliable sources, please see here.) More broadly: Neutralhomer is a very active and knowledgeable editor in the area of radio stations. He created many of the articles, including this one. Accusing him of vandalizing such articles just because he removes unreferenced material in accordance with policy—with edit summaries stating what is needed for the information to be re-added, even using the word "please"—is completely inappropriate. Thanks for raising the issue here, but please see this page on what vandalism is. Yngvadottir (talk) 09:27, 3 March 2022 (UTC)
