[edit]Since Davidson owns both WTOX and WLEE, wouldn't it be a lot more logical to put the history of WLEE with the WLEE article, instead of basing it on which frequency the station was on during which period of time?
Is 'hispanic' a recognized station genre?StreamingRadioGuide (talk) 04:16, 21 September 2008 (UTC)
- Additional Personal notes from a college student in the area at the time: I graduated U of Richmond (76) and had been involved with the campus radio station during my 4 years. I visited 1480 WLEE on several occasions. I met the Program Director, Bob Piva and several of the air personalities like BLT, Jim King and Newsman J Paul McGregor who I actually met at WXLO in NYC. It was a great top 40 staion. It was really sad to drive past the old location and see that those 4 towers were gone. If only someone could have saved that great radio staion....I'm sure that there would have been some format that would have worked. Dan L
