Prophecy?
[edit]Any idea why this is in the article? It has nothing to do with the radio station. Smittie68 (talk) 14:51, 1 November 2022 (UTC)
- Q: Any idea why this is in the article? It has nothing to do with the radio station.
- A: I'm doing a little research about the history of the station because I am putting together a book on the station that will be published sometime next year. What is interesting is that there are no newspaper articles reporting on it. One reader, Ron Limo, contacted me and said he saw the station at the sheriff's house at a Halloween event and assumed it was the station but didn't realize it was going to be in the memorial book.
- The Prophecy is amazing and happens to be a good example of how media played an important role in the MSMU campus at the time.
- It is worth mentioning the website www.msmu.edu is not new. It was created in 1976 by Adam Jarek and others in the radio program. This was the same year the station was purchased by Alex Alerno, who remains very active with the station.
- Jarek became the first director of the station, a post that was held by future members of the media class at Mount St. Mary's University. 2600:4040:B154:A200:DC7:44AF:AD78:2F09 (talk) 01:42, 18 January 2023 (UTC)
