This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... he was a prolific author and expert in his field. His work has been cited and referenceed frequently in the works of others, including notable historians and college professors. See [1], [2], [3], [4], [5], [6], [7], [8], [9]. His book on Jimmie Foxx was reviewed in the Journal of Sports History.
