Stub and Notability tags removed
[edit]A significant effort has been put forth in the last two days to enhance this page with both content and reference citations. Baring a major life event the remainder of my list of references will be added once the content they will support has been added to the page. FullScale4Me (talk) 02:59, 31 May 2021 (UTC)
Recent vandalism
[edit]I have reversed a number of recent not in good faith edits made today by TheDukeOfOceanus [red link]. The realm that the VRA exists in has, over a VERY long time for lack of better words suffered from a lack of restraint and maturity. I'm sorry that some of you other editors had to see evidence of that. It is NOT the norm. FullScale4Me (talk) 03:09, 27 July 2021 (UTC)
- I have again reversed a recent not in good faith edit made recently by TheDukeOfOceanus that lacked encyclopedic form, un-referenced and overtly slanderous in nature. FullScale4Me (talk) 01:50, 29 August 2021 (UTC)
Facebook as a source
[edit]Though I agree it is best avoided, per WP:FACEBOOK, it may be acceptable to use the official Facebook page as a source. If there is no other sourcing available, I think it would better in this case to cite the official Facebook page than to allow our article to become out of date. Tagging FullScale4Me and TheDukeOfOceanus. What are your thoughts? Best wishes NemesisAT (talk) 19:47, 20 August 2021 (UTC)
- While I will agree with you in principle to the point of defending you elsewhere. On this article the id User:TheDukeOfOceanus has joined Wikipedia for one purpose as his editing history shows. The writing style he uses is far from the wiki encyclopedic form required. Most would agree he is on a slanderous bent with a big axe to grind. ALL of his edits on wikipedia for the entire time his ID has existed have been solely on this article and focused of a strong negative tone, none of which improved the article to those other than himself.
- My Wiki ID is easily traceable to my birth name. If he was proud of his edits he would/should also be as traceable. The IP address he comes from is in eastern Pennsylvania. Thus far the VRA's lawyer is unaware of his actions. FWIW the human associated with TheDukeOfOceanus could easily be found out and served court papers based on my life experiences. The internet is no where as anonymous as he thinks it is.
- If he writes an ACCURATE summation with a neutral tone of the facebook post he keeps referring to I will let it pass and defer to other editors opinions. If he returns with personal opinions, hearsay, hatred and other unsourced statements readily discernible as purposeful slanders I WILL revert it again. Tagging NemesisAT - what are your thoughts? - Hello, sorry for my delay in getting back to you here. TheDukeOfOceanus's recent edits clearly aren't encyclopedic in tone and aren't sourced at all (let alone to Facebook), so I support your reverts in this case. Best wishes NemesisAT (talk) 18:55, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
