[edit]This article is generally informative but some parts are clearly non-neutral. For example: 'There even was a society of DOSAAF which was a volunteer society in cooperation with the Army, Aviation, and Fleet (notice the combination of the last three letters).' This sentence doesn't meet the criteria of an encyclopedia article. I'd like to specifically highlight the phrase in brackets. It is not a private correspondence, you can't address the reader. Furthermore, there was no mention that VSS was used by the Soviet government to fund Olympic athletes retaining their amateur status. I fixed that. But still there're multiple issues here. I noticed that the lead of this article doesn't have any references. At all. And there're only 8 (+2 Soviet books (1 encyclopedia)) references for the whole article (3 were added by me). Cskamoscow100 (talk) 9:54, 11 December 2017 (UTC)
