Connection with Vologda and Krasnoborsk in Origin
[edit]It seems, according the recent researchs, that both places were originated from Finnish Häme (Russian Jem) tribe trade settlements, for the Russians the mysterious Chuds. Krasnoborsk is located on the confluence of Northern Dvina (Vienajoki) and Uftjug Rivers. The Jug is Komi language and means River. Krasnoborsk is located on the west bank of the Northern Dvina 70 km by Kotlas - Archangel highway north west of Kotlas. Name literaly means "Red Forest" but I believe this is later changed name to replace the original Finnish / Komi Finno Ugrian name. Vologda (according to Vladimir Afanasjev and many other researchers, starting from N.I.Nadezhdin) derives from Valgia / Valgea (White) as well as Volga as has been published in Sterh (Snow Crane) magazine at St.Petersburg as early as in 1850´s.
Cleanup
[edit]I've added this tag because the whole article is written in not-quite-English, i.e. odd grammatical constructions, words which have presumably been taken from a (Russian-English?) dictionary but are used in the wrong context etc. etc. Fair play to whoever wrote it, it's very (perhaps in places a bit too) comprehensive and apart from the odd gobbledygook phrase it's fairly obvious what is meant, but a native English-speaker with more time than I needs to go through the whole thing and rewrite it. - I have rewritten the prose (though I am not a native English speaker, but I hope now it is clear) and therefore I remove the cleanup template.--Ymblanter (talk) 07:27, 1 January 2012 (UTC)
