revamp

[edit]

I restyled the entire article and added some content, in a fact kick starting the article. If anyone can find the exact specs for childrens balls and beachvolleyballs and wikify this article that would be great!-Catneven 14:53, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Picture

[edit]

I will try to take a picture of three types of balls in the coming days that easily compares the three.

Merge?

[edit]

I'm thinking this article would best be merged into the article Volleyball but I wanted to get some feedback before posting an official merge suggestion. We don't need a separate article for every little thing, and I think this is a case where we are reaching too far to make separate articles. Mathman1550 (talk) 23:29, 5 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't think this article was necessary when it was created either, but I think it's here to stay. See basketball (ball), baseball (ball), football (ball), tennis ball, golf ball, billiard ball, etc. Rracecarr (talk) 13:58, 6 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Units for Pressure

[edit]

I think the units for pressure should be replaced, kgf/cm² is explicitly non-SI compatible and psi isn't even a real unit for pressure. Unfortunately, the first reference seems to be dead, the second one is for beach volleyball, it mentions "171 to 221 mbar or hPa". Furthermore, the usage of implicit relative pressure could be confusing. While it might be obvious that the inside pressure is above atmosphere pressure, it would still be correct to mention that this pressure is in addition to normal pressure. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.119.239.163 (talk) 19:05, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
